What is PDO Threading?

PDO threading is a quick, non-surgical option to turn back the clock. Often referred to as the "non-surgical face lift", a PDO thread lift can address issues of sagging without any downtime and with minimal discomfort. Originating from the ancient practice of acupuncture, thread lift therapy is a cosmetic procedure with the primary focus of tightening sagging and aging skin, giving you a more youthful aesthetic. How does it work?

Winkles are mainly caused by loss of skin elasticity, fat, collagen or bone below the skin's surface. PDO threads stimulate collagen production and promote skin tightening and lifting. Botox and Dermal Filler can be used in conjunction with PDO threads for an anti-aging, non-surgical solution to wrinkle correction and prevention.

How long do PDO thread lifts last?

PDO threads should completely dissolve within 6 months post their insertion, leaving behind new collagen in their place with results lasting up to 2 years.

What to expect with PDO threads?

PDO threads are placed under the skin in the subcutaneous fat, resulting in a lifted appearance that can be seen immediately following the treatment. Results will continue to improve in the days and weeks following as the PDO stimulates the collagen in the skin, tightening below the skin's surface, and building a stronger collagen support system within the skin. What is the downtime for a PDO thread lift?

The downtime for the PDO thread lift is around two to three days. Like with all procedures, you may experience some bruising, swelling, or mild tension in the areas that were threaded. However, recovery from the treatment is minimal and you are often able to return to work the same day. Additionally, your provider will carefully go over all of your post-care instructions in depth with you following your procedure. 

How much does PDO thread list cost?

Your provider will design and discuss a plan for you based on your goals and budget during your appointment, prior to the procedure. Depending on the threads used and quantity/areas of the face, prices start at $250 per area, up to $1800 per area.
